My first Senior!

When I was in high school, we didn't do "senior photos" and weren't called seniors for that matter! I think it is a cool concept though and wish I did this when I was graduating from high school...

Anyway, this one was totally by fluke! Word of mouth sure travels fast (and in my favor) ha!
Here are a few fun shots of my first senior!! I could totally get used to this! They are sooo much easier than little kidlets LOL!

I just figured out how to change my font. I love html! Now if only I could figure out something other than the fonts and I'd be set HA!

Just the girls!

I took a little adventure to A's family acerage for some pics of her and her girls. We didn't need to go far for all kinds of variety there! You can do alot with 30 acres! Here is a peek at what I got...

Out of all the group shots I took, this has to be my favorite! Even though A isn't looking, I love it! Especially in black and white!

Something different...

I have been taking R and B's family pics for a while now, but I have been stepping outside the box a bit and I am having a ton of fun doing so!
here is last year's family pic, this was the norm for me, going to this location for alot of shoots:



And don't get me wrong, I love it there and I love this pic, but we had so much fun running around town going to a bunch of different places to get different shots! The kids were really good about it too (It's a good thing I keep a little bribery stash in my bag!)

and lastly, the family jump shot. This was so fun and the kids were laughing at the million jumps we did to make sure we got everyone in the air (well, as best we could anyway!) HA!

Heather and the travelling chair

Well, I found someone who was willing to go on a little adventure with me and it took all of 40 minutes TOPS-- even travelling time! It was great fun.... Here are some highlights:

This is our rendition of "Hippie mama stranded in the suburbs"


Then we travelled down the street where there is some construction going on..





Then a little further away, we found an empty field (and muddy I might add.. Let's just say I won't need a pedicure, I had a "special" mud treatment that squished through my prima crocs HA!) where a housing development will soon go up...


and hey, why not be fabulous role models and do what we tell our kids NOT to do -- play in the street? LOL!


On our way back to her house, I made a quick detour to an old raggedy, broken down shack and Heather thought she would climb the enormous tree:

Have I mentioned how much I love Thrift store shopping?

cuz I do! I love how faded this chair is and you can see the original color in between the tufts (or whatever you call the in betweeners LOL!)
Excuse the background, it is currently parked in my garage because I have a chair addiction right now and I have no room in my house ....



and of course cutie pie Addison had to get on there and as soon as she realised I was going to take her pic, she tried to climb down as fast as her little legs would carry her!




I can't wait to use this in the middle of a road, or in an empty field.... Or somewhere cool! Any takers??

Out on the town!

my girlfriend is getting married so I will be taking some engagement pics here soon! I drug the kiddos out to find some cool spots for this and here is a couple I found:

walking back to the van we saw this place called the Cuddle Kitten Sticker Girl Club and had a wall of not only a sticker sneeze, but a sticker throw up LOL!




And then Logan, who doesn't want his pics taken, but is willing to do a bit of jumping (well, as good as it gets for my 27 pounder 4 year old HA!)
